Phil Dover

Professor Emeritus

Dr. Phil Dover teaches courses on Strategic Market Planning along with Marketing and Strategy topics at MBA level at Babson College, and in Babson’s Executive Education (BEE). At BEE, he has led custom executive education programs on strategic market management and corporate entrepreneurship topics for major companies such as Sony, Infineon Technologies, Waters and Draeger.

Dr. Dover's academic and business interests lie in the management of high technology products and services, entrepreneurial management, strategic market planning, and services marketing. An active researcher, he regularly takes part in cooperative applied research projects with academic colleagues (currently in the UK and Germany) and industry practitioners.

Dr. Dover recently served as Dean of the Business School at the University of Buckingham, and successfully introduced programs on Entrepreneurial Studies to UK’s only private university. In addition, he held numerous marketing management positions with British Petroleum and Nestlé.

Dr. Dover holds a Master’s degree, and a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University.
