Marwa Gad Mohsen, Ph.D.

Associate Professor of Marketing

Dr. Marwa, an Associate Professor of Marketing, is an experienced academic and researcher with a background in industry. At the start of her career, she worked at the Institute of Management Development at the American University in Cairo to develop Marketing Diplomas and Certificates for executives and post-graduates based on market needs. As a practitioner, she then worked for many years in Egyptian-EU funded programs towards supporting the Egyptian industry and helping to upgrade Egyptian SMEs in various sectors, specifically the Food Processing and Agri-business sectors.

She then embarked upon her academic and research career in the UK. Marwa initiated and chaired the Complex Customer Interactions Research Centre at the University of Worcester in the UK, instigating and leading research projects, working with external partners and seeking funding opportunities. Marwa is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and is currently undertaking a Babson College Fellowship. Marwa enjoys engaging in entrepreneurial knowledge-transfer projects that translate research into impact for students, business and society. Her research is published in academic journals such as the Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Services Marketing and Advances in Consumer research, and practitioner publications such as IORMA: The Global Consumer Commerce Centre Online Reports, the Encyclopedia of Sports Marketing and Management and the Encyclopedia of Business in Today’s World.
