Anita Juho, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship

Dr. Anita Juho, an assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, is an international business and international entrepreneurship professional with both research and teaching experience.  Her topics of interest in research are related to entrepreneurship and opportunity creation especially in international business context. She is interested on entrepreneurs’ actions to create business opportunities in dynamic environment in interaction and in cooperation with other network actors. Especially startups, new and small businesses related to new technologies are in the center of interest.

Most recently, Dr. Juho had been working as a University Lecturer in Marketing and International Business at Turku School of Economics in Finland and as an Assistant Professor in Management and International Business at Oulu Business School. In addition to that, she has been coordinating Bio Business studies for PhD students at Biocenter Oulu and coordinating international Master’s level double degree program at University of Oulu.

Dr. Juho has international experience as a visiting lecturer at IPMI International Business School in Indonesia. In addition to that she has been a visiting researcher at the Uppsala University in Sweden, at the University of Glasgow in Scotland and at the Georgia State University in USA. During her PhD studies she participated NORD-IB program and did PhD studies in leading international business institutions in Nordic countries.
