Program Overview

A practical and interactive two-day programme that will examine the critical aspects of making equity investments across the life cycle of a business including start-up, growth, and distressed firms. In particular, the programme will teach participants the business model of venture capital and private equity.


Participants will learn in interactive sessions how to evaluate business opportunities, select, and structure deals. Due diligence, financial valuations, term sheets, and tips on how to negotiate the deal will be covered.

The programme is designed to deepen both entrepreneurs’ and investors’ understanding on the challenges both sides face during the process and on creating a win-win situation for everybody.

The two day workshop will introduce tools and techniques to assist both the entrepreneurs’ and investors’ requirements when sourcing and closing an equity deal. The programme will provide participants with evidence based and actionable knowledge through hands-on learning using case studies and group exercises. Participants will also be given key templates to help them apply the tools and techniques to structure future investments.
