Highly Selective

Admissions to MBSC will be highly selective where students are screened not only for their academic distinction and recommendations but also have proven commitments that show a passion for leadership and involvement to make their environment a better place.

Academic and Leadership Potential

Candidates need to demonstrate high academic and professional achievement and a potential for success at MBSC. Candidates also need to demonstrate a commitment to personal development, community service as well as potential for leadership and collaboration.

 

How to Apply

MBSC will only accept for consideration online applications that are complete.  Incomplete applications will not be entertained for consideration of admission into any of the MBSC degree programs.

Interested applicants can begin the process by registering through our online admission system. Follow these simple steps in order to complete your application pack.

  1. Register through our online admission system
  2. Complete all fields required
  3. Upload all required documents. (Please make sure to review the application requirements below)
  4. After submitting the online form, you should receive a confirmation that will be sent to the email registered in the online admission form

The Admissions team will contact you if you are shortlisted for an interview.

Admission Requirements

General Admission Eligibility

To be eligible for any of the programs being offered, the candidate must adhere to the following minimum requirements for admission.

  1. High academic with a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) at the Undergraduate level from an accredited college or university
  2. High professional achievers that have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  3. Demonstrated commitment to personal development and community service
  4. Fluency in English Language

Graduate Program Application Requirements

  1. An undergraduate degree (accepted candidates will be asked to provide an attested copy of the degree)
  2. Undergraduate Transcript/s or Records
  3. Recommendation Letters (3 with at least one from each category)
    1. Previous members of faculty who have taught the candidate in the past
    2. From non-academic referees e.g. employers, and influential members of your network
  4. Candidate’s CV
  5. Evidence of prior employment experience
  6. Letter of Intent (Personal Statement)
  7. Personal Interview
  8. Test Scores
    1. GMAT (highly desirable and recommended) – GRE can be submitted instead
    2. One of the following
      1. TOEFL Paper: 550
      2. TOEFL iBT: 71
      3. IELTS: 6

International Students

MBSC is committed to diversity and we welcome applications from all over the world. Applicants must submit complete applications by the first application deadline, in order to ensure that we may secure a Student Visa for each admitted and registered candidate (which can take some time).

Applications from International candidates, both male and female, will be evaluated based on merit and will benefit from the same criteria for Scholarships & Grants as will the applications of home students.

The Admissions Committee

The Admissions Committee is responsible for selecting, admitting and enrolling each cohort of its graduate degree programs with a view to ensuring that cohort selection is an integrated approach to ensuring a coordinated, collaborative and diverse population of students enroll into the college.

Admission Cycle 

Round 1 Deadline *

Registration deadline for candidates is March 1st, 2018

Round 2 Deadline

Registration deadline for candidates is April 26th, 2018

Decisions on Applications received will be made by May 10th, 2018

*Only applicants who submit their applications by the March deadline will be considered for Scholarships.  

Interviews

A personal interview is an integral part of the application process. MBSC is looking for candidates who demonstrate academic and leadership potential, as well as the potential for entrepreneurial thinking.

Students will ideally be interviewed in person.  However, if that is not possible, alternative media will be explored. Family members are most welcome to visit the college and city when a candidate appears for the interview.
